New premises
As you may have seen in the press, the clinic has moved location to a new building in Connor Downs. From the 1st August the clinic will be operating at the Connor Downs Surgery in Turnpike Road. The new premises offers modern facilities, ground floor treatment rooms and parking. It is really a very smart location and so far response from patients has been very encouraging. It is also only 15 minutes from the centre of St Ives and Camborne, so easy access for all patients.
Open Day
We will be having an open day on the 6th October, from 10 - 2, when myself and my two colleagues, Lorna Murray and Matt Roberts will be available to answer any questions people have about chiropractic and what we are trying to achieve at the clinic. There is a lot of misunderstanding about chiropractic, what it does, the actual treatment, and what conditions it helps. This open day will give local people a chance to come and ask those questions. Any patients who have been treated by the clinic would be most welcome to come too.
Workshops
We are also hoping to run regular workshops from the premises on a range of health issues. These will be open to all and will cover issues like specific complaints like carpal tunnel, migraine, as well as key areas like nutrition and fitness. I hope these will prove successful as the local GPS here are keen to get involved in wider health matters.
Free consultations
I am now offering a free 15 minute consultation to anyone who wants a second opinion or who still feels unsure about whether or not chiropractic is for them.
And Finally
The first full newsletter will be circulated on the 1st October 2007 and then every three months. It is available to all patients on e-mail, but will also be available to anyone subscribing on my website.
